Women’s Resource Center hosts movie night
The Women’s Resource Center, 105 Normal Road, is hosting its weekly movie night and gathering tonight in the Upstairs Blue Room of the center.
“North Country” is this week’s showing. The film deals with a 1984 lawsuit, the first class-action sexual harassment lawsuit.
The showing will begin at 7:15 p.m. and last until about 10 p.m.

Lillian Cobb fellowship proposals due Friday
The deadline has arrived for the Lillian Cobb Faculty Travel Fellowships. The NIU Division of International Programs is accepting proposals until Friday. Award winners will be notified by March 15.
Any tenure or tenure-track faculty members are eligible to apply.
Varying amounts of the $8,000 in total will be distributed to the chosen applicants.
Women’s Resource Center hosting “Selfless Saturday”
The NIU Women’s Resource Center is hosting its first “Selfless Saturday” this semester. Bagels and coffee will be provided at the event, which, in partnership with the Senior Services Center, aims to complete various volunteer activities.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Women’s Resource Center, 105 Normal Road, for the event, which takes place from 9 a.m. to noon. Transportation to the senior center will be provided.

SA presents “White Privelege 101” Friday
“White Privilege 101,” a speech sponsored by the NIU Division of Student Affairs, will take place Friday.
Art Munin, assistant dean of students at DePaul University, will speak on racial issues and conflicts that arise.
The event begin at 7 p.m. in the Duke Ellington Ballroom.
